Goodwill Launches Donation Drop-off Site in Irvine

Celebrating the partnership between Irvine United Congregational Church (IUCC) and Goodwill of Orange County at the Grand Opening of the new Irvine Donation Center. Drop-off hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 4915 Alton Pkwy. Thank you, Goodwill OC and IUCC, for providing Irvine residents with a fantastic new service.


Celebrating Earth Day at the Quail Hill Trailhead

Over the weekend, Vice Mayor Agran joined the community at the Quail Hill Trailhead for a delightful morning of breakfast and family activities in celebration of Earth Day. He thanks the Irvine Ranch Conservancy and the Irvine Company for your partnership over the years. The Irvine Open Space Preserve offers a unique chance for the community to engage in recreational activities.


Dedication Event Honoring Mary Ann Gaido

Join us on Thursday, April 18, at 2 p.m., as we dedicate the Sycamore Grove at the Cattle Camp in Bommer Canyon Preserve in memory of Vice Mayor Agran's dear friend, Mary Ann Gaido. Former Councilmember Gaido played a vital role in shaping Irvine's future, advocating for open space and affordable housing. Let's honor her legacy and celebrate her contributions to our community. Join us as we honor and celebrate the memory and achievements of a truly great citizen of Irvine.


Action with Autism

Let's come together this April for Autism Awareness Month to promote love, acceptance, and understanding for individuals with Autism. Vice Mayor Agran had the pleasure of joining the community at the Sweet Shade Ability Center to mark the launch of Action with Autism, a nonprofit organization. Founded by Emma, an Irvine high school student, along with her two friends, this organization aims to assist parents of newly diagnosed children with Autism in seeking early intervention and maintaining consistency.

Reflecting on her own experiences, Emma shared, "The early intervention I received as a child paved the way for my success, and the unwavering support from my family was crucial in my development and achievements today."


Great Park Development Open House

Join the City of Irvine on Tuesday, May 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. for the Great Park Development Open House at the Great Park Hangar 244. This event will provide community members and residents with an exclusive look at the future of the park. The carefully selected partners involved in the Great Park Framework Plan will be present to share their vision, plans, and next steps. More than just a simple gathering, the Great Park Open House serves as a crucial connection between the community and the innovative individuals shaping the destiny of this iconic project.
