Be Well OC Breaks Ground on Irvine Campus

Councilmember Agran attended the groundbreaking for the Be Well OC project in Irvine. The Be Well OC movement is a health collaboration between public and private entities. The Irvine wellness campus is on county land adjacent to the southern border of the Great Park (south of the intersection of Marine Way and Skyhawk.)  Be Well OC is fostering a healthier community by offering all OC residents comprehensive mental health care and wellness support.


Domestic Violence Awareness Month 

The month of October is dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence. Councilmember Agran joined his colleagues at the inaugural "Shine the Light" Walking Vigil in partnership with Human Options, the Irvine Police Department, and the City of Irvine. Human Options, founded in 1981 in Irvine, is committed to a future in which every person and family in Orange County experiences safe, healthy relationships, and lives free of fear.


Veterans Luncheon

Councilmember Agran hosted a meeting to spotlight veterans and honor the committed professionals who support their well-being and success. The topics discussed encompassed a wide range, from early mental health intervention to providing suitable housing for veterans. Councilmember Agran looks forward to working together to advance the quality of life for veterans.

Monster Bash Halloween Dance

The Annual Monster Bash Halloween Dance, hosted by the City of Irvine's Disability Services, was a lively evening filled with dancing, laughter, and camaraderie. Councilmember Agran’s team enthusiastically joined in and hit the dance floor, showcasing the Disability Services Program's knack for throwing a fantastic party and highlighting their commitment to people with disabilities.
